Rotary Club Bikaner Uprise facilitates ambulance for Bejubaan Welfare Sanstha with Rotary District Grant support; facility to assist injured and sick dogs with timely treatment and safe transportation
Bikaner. Service is not limited to helping human beings; wherever there is suffering, there is a need for compassion and timely support. Bringing this spirit of service to life, Rotary Club Bikaner Uprise has provided a Dog Ambulance to Bejubaan Welfare Sanstha. Supported through a Rotary District Grant, the ambulance was formally inaugurated by District Governor Brij Mohan Agarwal, who appreciated the initiative as a meaningful step towards promoting compassion and sensitivity towards animals. Club President Ruchi Daftri said Rotary’s spirit of service extends beyond human welfare and that the responsibility towards animals who cannot express their pain is even greater. She said around 160 injured and sick dogs are currently undergoing treatment at Bejubaan Welfare Sanstha. Club Secretary Parul Agarwal said the ambulance will provide crucial support for dogs injured in road accidents, sick and abandoned animals, and cases where immediate medical attention or safe transportation is required. The facility will help ensure timely rescue, transportation to treatment centres and safe relocation of animals whenever necessary. The Bejubaan Welfare Sanstha has been working for the care and treatment of injured and sick dogs, and the availability of an ambulance is expected to make these efforts more efficient and responsive. The initiative reflects a meaningful collaboration between the efforts of Rotary Club Bikaner Uprise, the support extended through the Rotary District Grant and the ground-level services of Bejubaan Welfare Sanstha. More than just the launch of a vehicle, the Dog Ambulance represents a commitment to extending the spirit of Rotary service to those voiceless beings who cannot speak for themselves but are equally deserving of care, compassion and timely assistance.
Members of Rotary Club Bikaner Uprise who were present on the occasion included club treasurer Neha Ojha, Ria Agarwal, Rashmi Kalla, past president Priyanka Shaghari, Neelam Singhi, Avni Agarwal, Anjali Gupta and Mudita.
